What is MFA?

MFA stands for "Multi-factor authentication" and is a way to increase security when accessing systems. When this is enforced, all portal users must also use an authenticator application (typically installed on a smartphone) to log in. The application provides a one-time code, which needs to be entered in addition to the password.
