Why is the smart meter status “online” but no values are visible after onboarding?

  • Make sure that the end user has activated the HAN-port. This can be done by contacting the grid owner.

  • Verify that the end user can see data in the native app of the smart meter. If not, follow the instructions from the smart meter provider to ensure it’s connected to the local wifi and is receiving data from the electricity meter.

What happens if the user unplugs the device from the electricity meter?

  • If the user has dynamic load balancing activated, it will enter the failsafe mode (after 2h of being unplugged and offline) which will set the charging current to 6A.

  • The real-time data will not update anymore.
